My Project
The purpose of a library is to reflect and enhance the community of patrons. We are lucky at The Holmes to have a library space. As our school becomes more inclusive, we need books and materials that are mirrors and windows for our whole community.
When our scholars see things that look like them, they feel proud and engaged, two crucial elements in learning.
These books and dolls are beautiful mirrors for our youngest patrons.
These are uncertain times for all of us. Please help our school library remain a safe space for learning. My students deserve to feel safe, seen and respected at school.
