Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
This year I have a group of very hard working little humans. They are willing to try and try again even with material they haven't encountered yet. I want to be able to provide them with the math materials they need to help them learn, grow, and master all they need to master to be fully prepared for second grade. Having a class with so many different academic levels makes it very important to personalize their learning. These materials will help target each individual and meet their needs to help with personal growth and ensure they are getting what they need out of the classroom rather than falling behind even further.
The centers I have chosen build off of each other.
From basic number identification and counting to creating number bonds. Students who come in at a lower level can still feel like they are progressing at their own pace with the personalize material they need.
