Help me give my students a fun way to learn through interactive games!
FULLY FUNDED! Ms. McCray's classroom raised $180
This project is fully funded
My Students
My students are 5 to 6 years old. They come from a small, rural, close-knit community. Some of them will gain their first social setting experience with other children within my classroom. My students are inquisitive, thoughtful, and full of creativity. They enjoy hands-on activities, as well as challenges that push them and get them thinking outside of the box. They love reading and learning new things every day.
I strongly believe that students should be active participants in their education.
Students are offered choices in their education as often as possible in my classroom. Some students face challenges every day that we work through, in order to help them grow both personally and academically.
My Project
Children learn through play. Play is often considered a "brain break" but for young scholars it is the best way to learn.
Osmo provides an innovative learning experience for young learners through real play.
Osmo merges modern technology with a fun hands-on experience. Students will have the ability to build, make and create in their own way using a fun program that brings their work to life.
In our classroom this Osmo device would be used to create various learning experiences. Students would be able to work independently or with peers to spell, count and even code. This Osmo would create an innovative learning station where students can express their ideas and creations. Please help my students as they become geniuses at play.
