My students need a 27 inch computer monitor in my classroom. This monitor will enable visually impaired students to access curriculum and assessments.

My Students

Our school serves students in grades K-8. We provide rigorous academics, fantastic teachers and a safe learning environment. Many of the students succeed despite difficult personal circumstances or learning disabilities. Our students come from a variety of economic backgrounds. Many of our students receive free lunch. Our school is also one of the most ethnically diverse schools in the area. Students speak a multitude of languages. Our students are economically, culturally and academically diverse. Despite learning difficulties, my students are eager to do their best. They want to be in school and be successful.

My Project

A 27 inch computer monitor with good resolution will help my visually impaired students access online material, classwork and district testing.

A large computer monitor will enable my students with various levels of physical need to see the curriculum and complete research.

This will help them access material and take school and state tests.

Students who are able to see the course material and tests will do better in school and experience increased self-esteem.

A large monitor in my classroom will benefit my students for years to come. As I service multiple grade levels, each student I service will enjoy the benefits of a large computer monitor for several years.
