Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
We love our Smart Board, but it needs its own laptop. It's a challenge for me to keep unplugging and plugging in my laptop whenever I need to work on my laptop.
My school is a small Title I school where a lot of my students qualify for reduced/free lunch program.
Many students come from diverse cultural backgrounds. Most are English language learners, speaking English as their second language. My students come to school eager to learn each day.
My Project
If I can have an extra laptop just for the Smart Board, I will not have to waste my time connecting the cables so many times during the day. I will be able to have my students use the laptop as well to access our math website for testing and many useful language arts practices on the website such as Starfall.
