Help me give my students enhanced and interactive lessons that will motivate and boost their curiosity with substantive, collaborative, project-based work with a lap computer!
My amazing scholars are always excited and curious to learn. Technology is such an integral part of our classroom environment. Being able to receive a high quality laptop within my classroom would help elevate my lessons and connect to students who are visual and auditory learners. When working in smaller groups I could further students' learning and skills with digital applications that can help assist in their development. As a whole class, students will gain a wider perspective with interactive lessons and games they love such as Jeopardy for math review for a test, and videos they can watch that are exciting and engaging in reading and science. The ability to have such a great laptop with endless opportunities would be incredible. I have students who are specifically quiet and are too shy to participate because they are submersed in technology at home integrating technology in the classroom would provide these students with comfort and allow them to voluntarily participate. I strongly believe in making learning fun and enjoyable, with a laptop I can continue to do so.
