This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I teach at a Title I school were a majority of my students receive free or reduced lunch, breakfast and supper. 100 % of my students are Hispanic.
Many of my students come from a single family home but they are always eager to come to school everyday.
My Project
We survived the pandemic and are recharging for the new year. During the summer my student and I are recharging and getting ready for the new year.
A laminating machine will be used to laminate my students projects during the year.
We will also use the laminating machine to laminate their letter cards and sight words. This will save paper and can be used year after year. The extra sheets will be needed through out the year.
I am hopeful that we will return to some type of normalcy in August.
