Help me give my students a new wooden kitchen area for imaginative play. These materials will be long lasting and a classroom favorite to visit and explore our imagination as we learn through the year.
This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Project
A favorite location to go and learn in conjunction with our imagination is the kitchen area in the classroom. Our current kitchen has been around for some years and will unfortunately be too worn to continue providing a fun area for my students at the end of this year.
This new kitchen playset and materials will be a long lasting addition to our classroom and help fuel social lessons and a place for our students to explore our different content through out the year.
Our kitchen area is where friendships are formed, problems are solved and where fun is had, even during busy days of learning. Our hope is to replace our beat up kitchen set with a new one by next school year where our incoming students can form new friendships. And by choosing a set with mostly wooden material, it is our hope that this set will service students for years to come. We thank you for thinking about partnering with us for this project and a place our students will feel comfortable exploring different concepts throughout the year.
