My Project

As a Provisional Licensed Professional Counselor in a K-8 school, I am working to build up my office supplies. During sessions, I will utilize different interventions and healing modalities to help students process through a variety of issues. Talk therapy is very beneficial, but sometimes words aren't enough, especially for young minds. I will be utilizing different theories such as CBT, Gestalt, Play Therapy and Narrative Therapy to help students identify emotions and learn new coping skills. Through different hands-on projects, students will use art supplies, social-emotional activities and creative healing avenues to be the healthiest versions of themselves!
