My Project
I feel very passionate about the importance of reading in a child's young education school years. I want to provide a classroom library of books that will impact my kindergarten, first, and second-grade students. By providing multiple levels of reading books for us to do lessons and read through, each student will be able to work on their specific level and allow us to focus on different skills for each leveled reader. This will help students gain confidence, fluency, and comprehension each week. My students need to be exposed to many different books and see sight words in context. By reading and re-reading these leveled readers, it will help to build confident readers and allow them to show significant growth by the end of each school year.
