A Journey of a Thousand Melodies Starts with Eight Steps

Help me give my students melody step bells so that they can visually and aurally learn the concept of pitch and melodic movement.

My Project

Learning high and low pitch as well as upward and downward melodic movement can be a hard concept for students to grasp and understand. Both aural and visual instruction can help students with mastery of this concept.

Melody Step Bells are excellent hands on tools for students in elementary music.

They provide both visual and aural experience with high and low pitch and upward and downward melodic movement. They can be used in many different instructional activities with all students in grades PreK through 5th grade. Everything from pitch exploration to accompanying songs and stories to student composition is possible with melody step bells.
