Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are hard working students. My students come from diverse backgrounds and at home many of them speak a different language. At home, some of my students speak Spanish, Vietnamese or Korean.

We celebrate their culture and language.

Many of my students receive free or reduced price lunch. I am thrilled that I work alongside many teachers who work very hard and always put student's needs first.

My Project

I can't wait to surprise my students with this light up Jenga game and magnetic Marble Maze to have fun games during our FRIDAY FUN.

This light-up Jenga tower will be the showstopper game of Friday Fun and the Marble Maze will delight them; Friday Fun will be so much fun!

Our school uses Positive Behavior Intervention Supports to encourage our students to have expected classroom behaviors. Having new and exciting Friday FUN activities is a wonderful classroom reward. My students will earn Friday Fun Choice Time with their decisions to have expected classroom behavior. I praise their good behavior and they feel good about themselves. The praise I give them improves their self-confidence and they feel good about the decisions they are making. In turn, they will continue to make good choices and will be super excited about Reward Time during Friday Fun! Friday Fun makes them happy.

The Magnetic Marble Maze that my students can affix to the whiteboard will be wonderful and seeing the Jenga game light up will be amazing. Seeing the colored Jenga collapse will be fantastic. I can't wait for my students to go home and tell their family about Friday Fun playing Jenga and Marble Maze. Thank you for supporting my fundraiser and thank you for caring about my students.
