My Students

My second grade students are happy, motivated, and excited learners. They are eager to have the opportunities to learn and grow so they are ready for third grade. The expectations in second grade are huge, and I am determined to help my little learners succeed in everything they do.

My students are diverse; to meet their needs, it is important to use a variety of learning experiences.

These second graders have used tools like Google Slides, Kindle Tablets and Chromebooks to help support and grow in their academic goals. They love learning new things and I can't wait to give them the next new challenge.

My Project

Having three iPads will make a huge impact in our how the classroom is able to function during both Language Arts and Mathematics. Having these devices in the classroom will also allow us to expand learning during Writing, Science and Social Studies lessons.

Limited technology has prevented students from having a meaningful learning experience.

In order to be equitable, students are only given some access on a weekly basis. This can change with the additional iPads in the classroom.

I look forward to having students play educational games like Raz Kids and Xtra Math, as well as learn to code and collaborate with peers on various projects. This will greatly prepare them for third grade and the rest of their academic life. Integrating technology makes learning more meaningful and fun and I am excited to give this opportunity to my students.
