My Students

Hello everyone! I am so excited to tell you about my second graders. This year, I have 28 students who make every day a great day to learn. We've had a lot of fun so far this year, getting to know each other, and helping each other to learn. We've really become like a family.

The classroom definitely becomes like a second home to these kids.

In our classroom, we learn how to be resilient, self-reliant, kind, caring, and brave. This is a class filled with future leaders.

My Project

We've all been dealing with circumstances that we have never expected or experienced. This requires us to change our norms and adapt to the world around us. Things cannot simply continue on as they always have.

Students need to know that their educational needs will be met, no matter the circumstances of the world around them.

Help me to teach my students no matter what is happening in the world. Flexible seating allows creativity to flourish in the classroom. Students have choice, comfort, and responsibility. They learn to take ownership of their learning.

We don't know what the future holds for the classroom right now, so it's best to be prepared. By having high-quality resources that are created to foster a love of learning, student creativity can continue outside of the classroom, if it becomes necessary to do so. If the right materials are used, the students will buy into the new expectations and will want to continue their learning.
