Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

This cubicle unit will help add the missing organization skills that our class needs to be successful. The units will be used during our literacy and math block. Our literacy cubicle will be color coded for each group to know where their required materials are. The math cubicle will be numbered so students can find the materials easily. This will help students become independent during our guided reading and math time to ensure the teacher is able to work with small groups.

Students will have the ability and independence to find material and complete the assignment while also corresponding with their peers.

Cooperative learning is a huge part of our classroom set up. Knowing how to use these cubicles will ensure independent and success in their own learning.
