it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Thanks to DonorsChoose our classroom is accumulating lots of books. Now we need shelves to put those books on! We need these bookshelves for our classroom.
My students live in a low-income area in California.
They attend a Math and Science Magnet that prepares them for college. They take Advanced Placement, college courses and carry full course loads, often taking classes during vacation as well. Many of my students did not grow up with books in their homes. Their only access to books has been in school.
My Project
In the last month DonorsChoose has provided our classroom with much-needed books. Now we need a place to put those books. We need bookshelves so we can have a home for all of our new books. Please help us purchase these bookshelves so our new books will have a home. My students would love to see their new books displayed on bookshelves rather than in boxes. My students will learn the importance of books in their lives as they see their new books out in the classroom.
These bookshelves will give our new books a proper place in our classroom.
Students should be able to walk in our classroom and see their books proudly displayed on shelves rather than in boxes. These bookshelves will help to organize our classroom and allow students access to our books quickly. Please help us purchase these shelves.
