A Heart for the Heart

My students need 3 heart rate monitors to use in the Heart Disease Unit. They will be monitoring their own heart rates and creating target heart rates for themselves. This will increase their knowledge and awareness of cardiovascular health and fitness.

My school is in a rural area where the need for heart knowledge and the issues of cardiovascular disease associated with obesity need to be addressed.

Our Health department budget is extremely limited. We do not receive any book rental fees or extra fees from students to pay for supplies needed in the classroom.

We need three heart rate monitors to show firsthand how the heart can be positively changed through exercise and the need for good cardiovascular fitness.

Your donation will impact every freshman student that enters this school. They will be influenced by the findings that come with using the heart rate monitors.
