My Project
After the COVID-19 pandemic, we are acutely aware of the importance of a healthy environment in letting students focus on learning. In this day and age it is impossible for one person to provide all that students need to be healthy happy learners. With these classroom supplies, my students will no longer have to wipe their dripping noses on their arms while solving math problems and the mosquito care will help them focus on learning instead of swatting. Also, band-aids for simple things reduce time away from learning to take care of minor scrapes and things that can be taken care of in-class with the right materials. Students who have these things feel safe and healthy which contributes to students' mental well-being learning. Because of COVID-19 and the resulting focus on hygiene, students need to feel that school is a healthy and safe place for them to emotionally connect back to learning. This project directly addresses those needs.
