This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students are quite extraordinary! They have been learning how to cope in these crazy times and doing a phenomenal job at it! This new year brings a lot of hope and normalcy back into the lives of the children. We are looking forward to being together and back in the classroom. My students deserve a safe and healthy environment.
My Project
Creating a safe and healthy classroom for every student is a priority. My project will teach the students the importance of thinking about the environment and what we can do to help reuse and reduce. This will give us the opportunity to create a project to research healthy habits.
My project will create a sustainable environment in and outside our classroom.
Our research project will hopefully, allow the students to see first hand their impact on the environment through healthy eating and reusable materials. It is the hope that the lessons learned can be brought home to share with their families.
