This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

A classroom rug is a place where lots of learning occurs! My 4 and 5-year-old students love sitting on our rug for whole group, whether to read a story or to work on a floor puzzle. We used to have circle time on the rug, but our 10+ year-old rug is stained and dirty and some of my students have breathing difficulties. Rugs unfortunately cost more than we are given for school materials. Please help our class get a clean new rug, so that all my students are able to sit and learn once again!
