I have 150+ students and they all have unique learning styles. To communicate lesson plans, I have to present them to appeal to visual learners, auditory learners, sensory and gross motor learners. The best way to do this is with games, songs and toys.
I am requesting toys that will enhance their learning.
All of these toys will be used with literacy and math units.
I like to start with a book and then I move on to an activity that will allow us to explore the premise or an aspect of the story. The students look forward to these activities so I strive to make them as fun and stimulating as possible. My favorite kind of teaching is when teaching looks and feels like play and these toys will definitely add that element of playfulness!
