This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Throughout our Kindergarten year, we are conducting a study of different habitats. We are weaving this study throughout language arts, math, science, social studies and writing. We also incorporate the animals and habitats into our free play steam centers.

These animal kingdom blocks will help create a visual, hands-on example of different habitats.

We will use the puppet tree to display and store our assortment of animal puppets that are a part of each habitat study. These materials provide creative opportunities for students to immerse themselves in each habitat.
