Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

We will be going into our 2nd year of Garden Buds where the littles get to work with the bigs to create a garden and watch it grow. Many of our students come from homes that would not have the opportunity to be able to have a garden.

The garden we will grow will give our students the opportunity to watch how seeds grow into plants and how we can use them for food.

This process continues each year and at the end of the year, we have an Earth Day celebration for our school to show them our garden.

Our students have such an eagerness and willingness to learn and create. They always accept the challenge of new activities and celebrate all the successes.
