My Project
I am a 5th grade ELA teacher. I have two classes per day with about 25 students in each session. I will be using a Retro theme for next year and need some decorations to complete my collection that I have already purchased.
Each student needs their own headphones, and many cannot afford them.
I am also needing zippered bags to hold my loaner headphones. This will allow students to easily "Check out" a pair of headphones from my supply cabinet, without disturbing the class. They will simple get a zipper bag, the bag and headphones will have a number, they will then sign their name out on the sign out sheet, showing me which number they have borrowed. This will help assure that I will get all headphones returned at the end of each day.
I need the stoplight for classroom noise level, as these big classes are very loud when the students start talking. The stoplight will GREATLY benefit my more timid students who cannot concentrate with talking, so that I may use the remote to quieten the class without adding my voice to their voices in order to quieten them myself.
The laminator and sleeves will benefit the students by allowing them to use, and write on anchor charts I make for the classroom, as well as, laminated activities that can be written on with a dry erase marker, and later erased. The carrying bag will benefit everyone, as I walk to school daily, and take my computer and papers to be graded home with me each day. This allows me to concentrate my entire class time to the students, so I don't have to grade papers and plan lessons in the class.
The Figurative Language posters will go right along with the other posters I have.
