This will allow 4th and 5th graders a crash course on the Shurley Method English from the 1st grade level up to their perspective grade level, so we can get on our level quickly. They will be very behind from the fact that this curriculum was not introduced to them until this year. I taught this years ago on the first grade level, but not on the 2nd and 3rd grade levels. This program is one that builds on each year and they need a quick way to fill the gap. I feel as though they could watch the earlier levels being performed via DVDs from other schools, to help them move more quickly toward their level.
