This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students can be very shy, especially around strangers. Year after year they are forced to smile in front of strangers who don't take the time to sit with them and make them comfortable enough to simply smile or not.

The companies we've hired don't know that proper lighting matters for children of color.

This year, I want to make the yearbook extremely special as our students are back in school after the pandemic and they deserve the best.

I want this to be a yearbook that will highlight their gorgeous skin tones, bright eyes, and beautiful smiles with photography lights. Please help me in ensuring that every graduating student gleams with pride ready to show off his/her/their photo to all their friends and family!

Additionally, these accessories will be used for a podcast club we host after school in which we are teaching our students to communicate, advocate, and be confident.
