My Students

Think about when you watch the morning news on TV. Do you like smiling faces telling you important information and facts for the day? Our students want to do the same thing here but first we need your help buying the equipment.

The morning news program is made up of select 5th grade students who run the technical equipment and report the news.

Our school has 900 students and we select the best candidates to be part of the morning news program. We have special segments and invite students from each of our 40 classes to say the pledge and give special reports. We want to make the news special for each student in the school.

My Project

The students will be able to report the daily lunch schedule including tips on nutrition. Learning how to make the right choice when it comes to food can be hard, but we make it easy by showing the students how to make smart choices. We can demonstrate great exercises to do during recess and report live during Jump Rope for Heart.

This camcorder will benefit the entire school by giving the students a chance to hear important information and give the 5th grade students a place to learn about a morning news program.

The news cannot air live without a great camcorder to broadcast the news to the school.
