Help me give my students the perfect classroom! I’m back in a classroom for the first time in years and my room is bare. I took over for a 5th grade science class and they love reading!
I’m back to teaching full time. The class I took over for has nothing, no wall decor and minimal supplies. As for the supplies I do have, there’s just not enough of it. I’ve been putting so much of my own money already into this. I’m requesting decorations for my bulletin boards, because kids need to be welcomed in a classroom setting where it’s vibrant and inviting.
The book sets I chose for my project are for all 5th graders to checkout from our class library to enjoy.
I have been bringing my own books from home but it’s just not enough. We have about 100 kids in 5th grade who are excited about reading so I wanted to give them more book options. Our school library only has one copy of each book, and more kids are becoming interested in these titles. I think it’s great that our 5th graders love to read, just as much as I do.
Any donation will help the students and myself immensely. I will be at CES for the long haul and appreciate any help.
