This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our 8th graders have come a long way — academically, socially, and emotionally. They've grown into leaders on campus and are more than ready for high school.

We want to honor their journey with a promotion ceremony that feels vibrant, joyful, and 100% them.

We’re dreaming up a celebration full of color, laughter, and unforgettable memories — and we need your help to make it pop! With your support, we’ll transform our space into a festive graduation zone using dozens of balloons (including big 2025 numbers), eye-catching balloon arches and garlands, fringe and metallic streamers for that wow factor, a colorful photo booth backdrop with fringe curtains, mini graduation caps and props for fun photo ops, and other thoughtful decorations to make it feel like a true celebration.

We’ll use these materials to create a photo-friendly space where students can take pictures with friends, family, and staff, capturing one of their last big middle school moments.

Many of our students don’t have access to professional photos or big events. This promotion ceremony gives them a special moment to feel celebrated and seen, surrounded by beauty, joy, and the people who care about them. With your help, we can make this day feel as big and bold as their futures.
