Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I have a diverse group of learners including female and male students from diverse cultural backgrounds. Over 75% of my students come from low-income families. I have students with a range of special needs such as autism, intellectual disability, visual impairment, physical disability, and ADHD. I also have English language learners who need additional instructional support. Overall, my students are eager to learn about art, and I am always seeking ways to make their learning a more successful experience that will impact their lives.
My students need a projector screen to conduct their artwork presentations.
They enjoy presenting their finished artwork after every unit of study. They like to explain their art-making process and teach others their unique approaches. However, since we do not have a projector screen for our projector, I have to project their work on a wall. Thus, causing us to lose image quality and details from their artwork get lost.
My Project
Studio Art consists of visuals and being able to see a clear image of the works of art is extremely important in order for the best learning to take place. The Elite Spectrum Series projector screen will enable students to present a clear image of their artwork during their presentations. Also, Students will be able to show their hard-work and dedication invested in details created in their three-dimensional and two-dimensional works of art. Students will be able to use the projector screen to conduct art analysis/critiques to learn from one another and demonstrate what they are learning in the classroom.
The projector screen will enable better student art presentations.
Having a projector screen will also help my students present their digital works of art and not lose image quality. It will also help my students with special needs that are unable to write, express themselves verbally while projecting their artwork on the screen. Overall, the projector screen will create a better interactive learning experience for all of my diverse learners.
