My Students

Bright eyes and brilliant minds. My students come from rural and suburban neighborhoods. They come from various experiences and backgrounds. Some come to school hungry, tired, and alone. Others come from lots of love, great opportunity, and an abundant life.

Talented students fill our classroom each day with a thirst for knowledge and love of learning.

My students love everything from science to history to math to reading and writing. They love gathering together to share a great book, participate in an interactive technology game, and tell all about what they have learned.

My Project

As students walk through the door each morning, it is the start of a day filled with opportunities to learn and grow.

With the funding of this project, a bright and cheerful rug will serve as a hub of activity for our classroom.

Students will gather to read books, discuss great topics, and dig into their learning. When we sit together on the floor, we are equal and share a space where all ideas are accepted and encouraged. Having a central gathering space is essential to building a happy, successful learning environment.

This bright pop of color will pull together an inspirational classroom that promotes the best that each child has to offer.
