Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students took part in our math enrichment class this year. We explored the cost of everyday living - buying groceries, owning a car, renting an apartment, etc. They learned how to budget and plan for their future.
As we wrap up the year, I would like them to continue learning life skills in a fun way.
Monopoly the game will allow my students to build wealth by buying, renting, trading the world's most famous properties. The new version of Monopoly brings the game into the future. Players can instantly buy properties, set rent, and tap their way to fortune. Playing the game will enhance their planning and strategy skills that will greatly impact their future.
