My Project
Middle school art is a special place for many students where they can be themselves and share their unique ideas. Although we explore many different mediums in art class, both 2-dimensional and 3-dimensional, glass fusing has not been one of them.
The art of glass fusing would give my students another expressive outlet that they have not yet been able to explore due to a lack of enough supplies.
The purchase of glass sheets, slumping molds, glass rods, cutting tools, kiln paper, etc. would give my students another exciting medium to explore, reaching my goal of exciting my students and igniting a passion for art in many ways.
