Our classroom has a good library of fiction books and novels, but when it comes to nonfiction, we have very few resources. With several standards to address in the realm of nonfiction reading, we need good, high interest, nonfiction texts with which to practice our nonfiction reading skills. Our library is used a lot making acquiring texts from there in a timely fashion difficult sometimes (or getting enough for all students). It would be wonderful to have Scholastic magazines "delivered to our door" with current topics ready for us to read about and learn about all while learning nonfiction reading skills.
