Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students need and deserve a classroom that provides a fun and engaging environment for learning. I teach kindergarten in a low income inner city neighborhood.
My kindergartners love to listen to stories. The listening center is another place where they can do this. However, our listening center has fallen apart. Our headphones have dissembled and our cassette player breaks and removes the film from our cassettes.
We need a listening center from lakeshore learning center that includes a cassette and cd player, a set of headphones and portable station and a rack to organize these materials.
Your help will ensure that my kindergartners continue their love for stories. With your contribution these children can develop their literacy skills in a big way. Please help my students carry on their love for stories in the listening center.
