Our Classroom has a range of students from Kindergarten to 5th Grade. Students have a variety of needs from learning, visual, sensory, and emotional. Students may come to our room for reading, writing, math, social emotional or organizational support. Additionally, our resources also assist all students in their general education classroom. Our goal is to create a classroom with multiple outlets for learning, with a variety of seating choices, hands-on manipulatives, and games,and supplies to enhance the curriculum of the district. All donations are 100% suggested as RCS will provide students with all necessary materials such as crayons, pencils, books, etc. This year we have three 3 full-time teachers in one room servicing over 40+ students receiving special services.
My Project
Kore Stools and balance balls are a favorite with students. The kinetic sand is often used with students when having emotional difficulties.
By donating to our project, you will not only help to improve and increase student attention and focus, you will ultimately help to increase their academic achievement.
Math games were researched this summer and will be used will all grade levels to help reinforce math skills. All have a specific purpose to engage children in all grades K-5. All materials will be used with students to increase engagement. LCD tablets are a fun way to engage students during lessons with a different approach.
