it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students bring so much energy, creativity, and heart to the classroom every day. At our Title I school, many face significant challenges outside of school—whether it’s economic hardships, language barriers, or adapting to a new culture—but they always come ready to learn, grow, and support one another. Each student brings a unique story and perspective that enriches our learning community and makes it a vibrant, inspiring place to be. Their determination and excitement to discover new things motivate me as an educator every single day.
Keeping our classroom clean and safe is essential for their health and peace of mind, especially as they focus on learning a new language and adjusting to school routines.
The hand sanitizer, disinfectant wipes, tissues, and gloves in this project will help create a healthy environment where students feel protected, cared for, and respected.
When students don’t have to worry about germs and illness, they are able to focus more fully, participate actively, and attend school consistently — all key ingredients for their academic success. These resources also send a powerful message that their well-being matters, boosting their confidence and sense of belonging.
