This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students come from many diverse backgrounds which require many different approaches to teaching and learning. My students come in every day excited and ready to learn. Our school is a low-income school where every child receives free breakfast, snack, and lunch.

Many of our students come from homes that speak a language other than English and having the tools in the classroom my students need in order to succeed is very important to me!

Knowing my students come from different backgrounds and learn differently, I want to make sure they are well-equipped with all of the materials they need so that they can all learn to their highest potential and be prepared for the future.

My Project

This year, will look a lot different than the past two years. My students will finally have a somewhat normal school year in a classroom. Being remote and hybrid the past 2 years has been very difficult on both teachers and students.

I want to be able to give my students a fresh new classroom that they will love!

The materials I am requesting will allow me to create new bulletin boards for my students that are both eye catching and educational. With the paper, posters, laminating sheets, and astro bright paper I will be able to do such that!

With the markers and post it paper I will be able to create eye catching anchor charts that my students can look at to remind them of skills we have been learning!

My students deserve a fresh new classroom that they want to be in, with these materials I can create that for them!
