A Fresh Start for Third Grade: The Fun Stuff

Help me give my students the fun stuff that we will use as incentives and supplies for book-related activities and projects!

My Project

These third graders started the year with no teacher, which has meant no routines, systems, or consistent expectations in place to help them be successful learners.

These items will encourage my students to be excited to learn and reward them for behaviors that contribute to an effective learning environment.

They will need lots of reminders and incentives to help them remember how to behave during learning time after a month without a teacher.

Some of these items, like desk pets and a glow party, will be used as long-term incentives when the whole class is doing really well. Other items, like the art supplies, will be used for activities and projects related to the literature we are using in class.
