A Fresh Start for the New Year

Help me give my students a fresh start to begin 2025 prepared. As our semester begins to wind down, we are low on our most used supplies like pencils, erasers, glue, cardstock and water bottles.

My Project

Each year we start with handfuls and handfuls of pencils, erasers, and glue sticks.... But something happens in the mysterious halls of a middle school: they disappear. If you could help us replenish our buckets for students who may not have their own supplies, it would be greatly appreciated.

Did you know that dehydration can cause fatigue, sluggishness, and missed class time?

After lunch, students tend to find themselves a little more tired than they were during their morning classes. After P.E., they are hot and thirsty. Those without water bottles from home miss class time going to the water fountain to get drinks. Because of this, I think to keep some small bottles in the classroom.

Students use the colored cardstock to differentiate between the various units we cover in their interactive notebooks. It makes it easier to find the information they are looking for when they can flip to a specific color. The glue gun and sticks will allow me to hang a more permanent template of what the notebooks should look like and contain on the wall for students to reference.
