This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

After a year and a half of online learning, our 80 third graders will finally return in person to campus this fall! They are eager to learn and return to their classroom with all their classmates and teachers. Their joy and love for learning are truly inspiring!

My Project

After a year and a half of being online, we will finally be returning to the classroom in person! My students are very excited to come back. I am requesting crayons, markers, folders, card stock, pens and tissues.

In order to be successful, we need our basic supplies to help us stay organized and represent ourselves as we started out this year strong together.

My students will use these resources individually to practice and to promote learning. The folders will allow my students to be organized and track their learning throughout the year. My students will set up their learning folders during the first week of school in order to establish strong habits for the year. The multicultural coloring supplies will be used throughout the school year in order for them to better represent themselves through art and various activities throughout the school year. During the first few weeks of school, my students will use their new coloring supplies to create decorations to represent themselves in the classroom.
