My Project

One of the most important parts of my job as a teacher is to help students find the love and joy of READING! I find the best way to do this is to practice everyday, with quality books that they choose, in spaces that feel cozy, comfortable, warm, and safe. Having a new carpet, choices of new, beautiful seating, and some exciting book titles helps our learners feel at home with books. They create memories and positive emotions of safety and care when they are reading in a calm, beautiful space.

My students deserve to have shiny new chairs, cushions, and an updated library space instead of hand-me-downs or faded furniture from years of previous use.

Please help me in creating this safe, welcoming library area for them to use everyday and call their own.
