it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I’m so excited to be setting up a brand new classroom this year — a fresh start filled with possibilities for learning, creativity, and growth. As I prepare the space for my students, I’m reaching out to ask for your help in making it truly special and functional from day one.
Specifically, I'm in need of:
1) A handheld vacuum to help keep our classroom clean and organized daily. A clean and organized classroom is a calm and productive classroom. This reduces distractions, promotes responsibility, and gives students a welcoming, clutter-free environment where they can focus on learning.
2) A variety of books to build a welcoming and engaging class library that supports literacy and inspires a love of reading. Books open doors to imagination, confidence, and lifelong learning. A well-stocked classroom library means students will always have access to stories that reflect their experiences, expand their worldviews, and spark their curiosity.
Together, these tools help me create a classroom that is safe, supportive, and stimulating — a place where students want to be and are equipped to do their best.
