My Project

Reading proficiency is fundamental for academic success and lifelong learning. Unfortunately, many students struggle with reading comprehension and fluency, which can significantly impact their academic achievement and future opportunities. Access to technology can greatly enhance reading instruction by providing interactive resources, personalized learning experiences, and opportunities for skill practice and reinforcement.

With access to digital reading materials, educational apps, and online resources, students will be able to engage with reading in dynamic ways that cater to diverse learning styles and preferences.

Students have school-provided Chromebooks but they will not run all the software programs. I would love to have a classroom MacBook for students to use when their Chromebook is not compatible.

Furthermore, I have Cricut machines for students to use for crafts during their lunch break and after school but my computer is too outdated to run the software and their Chromebooks are not capable of downloading the software. Students have not been able to utilize the machines due to needing an updated computer.
