This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I have an amazing class this year with many learning needs.

Year after year, I look forward to teaching 3rd graders because they are excited about learning and are willing to try new things in the classroom.

My third graders also love hands-on, active and engaging projects that allow them to think and learn at their ability level. My third graders are truly my inspiration, and I come to class eager to fill their brains with curiosity and love for learning!

My Project

Flexible seating allows students to feel empowered by having some degree of choice and control over their environment where learning will be most beneficial. Flexible seating also allows students to choose where they work and with whom. When needed students have the choice to change their location and positions to benefit them in learning.

Flexible seating options aid students in finding a comfortable area to motivate them to learn in a less controlled and restrictive environment.

I see a difference in my students when they are given a choice where to sit and who to sit with. Students are able to complete their assignments, and I see them more engaged, motivated, and dedicated to their learning.
