This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students are more than where they come from or where they live. My students have more potential than I ever imagined my classroom would have.
They are dreamers, they are team players, they are hard-working, and more than any of those, they are inspiring.
Many of my students have hardworking parents who work late and many siblings to take care of before they even start to think about taking care of themselves. They are talented and motivated but just need a little more support to reach their full potential.
My Project
Our patrols are unable to do their duty and hang the Florida flag up with our American flag because of wear and damage to the flag. Our school has no funds to get them a new one because all of our accounts are frozen in the school system in Florida. As a result, these patrols cannot do their post.
The patrols are eager for responsibility and love doing their jobs but it's difficult not being able to provide them with everything they need.
Please help us by donating for us to buy a new flag to fly in front of our school!
