My Project
I graduated from University in May and have recently accepted my first teaching job teaching government and economics. As a first year teacher, I do not have the basic supplies that my students will need to be successful and supported in the classroom.
Everything on my list is something that I can see myself and my students using everyday.
Students will need pencils everyday in class and will need a pencil sharpener to ensure they can use their pencils. Markers, scissors, and glue will help allow my students to complete artistic projects including posters and drawings. Post-it notes are excellent for exit tickets and other quick assessments.
Staplers, binder clips and paper clips will allow me to remain organized and be the best teacher I can be for them.
Overall, my wishlist is a collection of first year teaching essentials.
