My students are eager learners! We are a group of gifted and talented students who are constantly striving to take our learning to the next level. We employ as many hands-on, real-world learning experiences as possible. The more I challenge these students, the more they want to know!
My students thirst for authentic learning opportunities that are presented in a fun, challenging, and rigorous manner.
They love challenges, and are motivated to explore though the use of experiences, games, and activities that allow them to see things in a new light. I want to make learning fun for my students!
My Project
These materials will support my students by challenging their thinking in a variety of ways! Gifted students excel in finding new connections with opportunities to think differently, solve puzzles, and observe at a high level of learning.
The games in this project will be used as extension center games for motivation purposes after finishing work, exploration games to challenge their strategy and analytical thinking skills, and adapted for several class activities- including spelling practice.
We routinely use games to support our curriculum components to build on knowledge and challenge learning through fun and creative means. We'd love to add several more games to our repertoire.
