My Project
My students need to get creative! They love the opportunity to explore, create, design, and wonder. A Doodle a Day is a project where students can do exactly that. Every morning we will start the day with a drawing challenge they will complete in their sketchbook. Some examples of these challenges are: draw an outfit inspired by a cooking utensil, take this shape and create a picture from it, or draw a picture based upon a phrase or caption.
A Doodle a Day keeps the creativity flowing!
Doodling while learning helps students remember 29% more than students who don't doodle! This is a game-changer. Our morning doodles will inspire those students who adamantly state, "I can't draw!" to those who will doodle to have fun and to help them learn. Creativity is a skill that needs to be fostered in school, and the sketchbooks used for A Doodle a Day will do just that!
