A Document Camera That Will Transform Math Education!

it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My goal for this project is to get a portable document camera and wireless keyboard that can be moved easily around the classroom to maximize the learning space for my students. In order to increase students' engagement the classroom environment needs to be student-friendly where images of math concepts such as function transformations, real-life applications, data analysis can be viewed in different lenses of magnification and different locations in the classroom. Students' active participation is a vital part of my day-to-day teaching. Thus, students will use the document reader to demonstrate their learning by modeling sample problems, correct each other's mistakes in front of the whole class, and conducting group presentations. Additionally, the wireless keyboard can connect to 3 devices at the same time so students can use it to showcase their work on the large screen prometheon board, overhead projector (connected to the class laptop) and or the classroom Chromebook. My students are special because they come to school to learn despite all the tragedies that have been occurring in our society today. They consistently worked hard to improve their math skills although the learning gaps from covid and distance learning have widened that gap. They deserve a structured and prepared learning environment that a document camera and wireless keyboard will provide.
